Perhaps. However his demeanor is more in line with a archbishop of pride. Since he was incredibly offended when he was interrupted and not paid his proper respect.

Neat, I had noticed the butterfly eyes but didn't make the connection with the beginning of the OP and Echidna's hair ornament until I read your post.

Maybe, but it doesn't seem like all of the vices necessarily line up smoothly with what our typical conception of them are. We know that greed is not about obtaining material wealth but rather knowledge despite our typical association with it being the former. So sloth could have been his disdain for knowledge, he didn't even know that he was the archbishop of sloth after all.

Gluttony also doesn't seem to match up smoothly with our understanding of it usually. It of course usually is is associated with a unhealthy desire for food or pleasure, but in this case it's a overwhelming urge for names and experiences.

The only thing we know for sure is that greed is associated with a desire to know everything which the man we met at the beginning of the season did not have any quirks which would indicate an association with that.

Shocked I tell you
He totally did. He introduced himself as "Archbishop of the Witches Cult representing Sloth Betelgeuse Romanee-Conti."

He instead of being Slolthful himself, seemed to dislike those that showed sloth and was incredibly diligent instead.

Regulus instead stated he was content, but disliked having what he viewed as his rights being taken from him. "That's a violation of my right to speak one of my few possessions"
Batankaitos seemed to represent his sin the most, but is not hungry for food.

I guess I misremembered Beetlejuice.

Regulus shows none of the traits that I would expect someone who gets his witch factor from Echidna.

Whereas Beatrice is very much like Echidna.

Subaru showed up out of the blue when Otto was at the end of his rope, giving him not only an out for his situation but also instantly treating him like a valuable and reliable asset, while playing the right notes to push him forward against his misgivings. Despite all the sass he and how it's been consistently putting him in danger, Otto understandably feels greatly appreciated; this complete stranger could just see right through him and find worth where he wasn't even sure there was any himself.

Like Rem, a case of Subaru being Subaru and accidentally making a loyal friend out of a good person that just needed to be reached out to.

Also now that it's happened once, it's good to see Subaru's foremost concern being the possibility of ending up stuck in timelines where he loses people close to him. He's mostly gotten over the idea of sacrificing himself (and he's even become a little too gung-ho about suicide) but having others suffer is something he won't abide.

Didn't Beetlejuice specifically say the archbishop of Pride was a vacant position? That's why he thought Subaru might be the one.

I am having difficulty understanding wait

So is Mother? Did Beatrice say “Mother” so like are the Witches or at least one of them the creator of Beatrice???

I assume because all the great spirits were created by satella, weren't they? Or at least that seemed implied in the movie.

Err maybe not all... but the beast of the end was I believe, and Beatrice saw puck as kin and she is also a great spirit therefore?

Edit edit: on further review it seems satella is never named, the only thing referred to is a witch.

I think spirits and (certain/all?)demi-humans can smell magic, and if they've had a run in with Satella/Cultists recall the scent, and react accordingly. Has Emilia ever commented on it, maybe she is too polite?

On this episode given Beatrice's demeanor I interpreted it as she was acting on conditions of past contracts she'd made. Considering that when she made a contract with Suburu she ended up exploding her house, she wouldn't appear well versed in the finer points of contract bargaining.

So Grouchio please do more of the former, and cut down on the latter, because the more genre savy or trope poisoned someone is, the more they can infer information you didn't intend from non-spoiler talk by someone who knows spoilers.

I'm now convinced that Ram > Rem

Ram:
-Says "Ha"
-Will be cute even when a grandma
-Doesn't need no demon horn
-Gives out nicknames

Rem:
-Too sleepy to even bother defending herself
-Completely forgotten by society
-Has demon horn. That's weird.
-Gives out no nicknames, must not be very creative
-Losing the Subarubowl to Emilia
