like i am glad because obviously i would prefer to find this out before buying, but also man buying a house is complicated

buying a house to live in obv, alab etc

There's no perfect house and the buying/ selling process is always a bizarre loving nightmare that goes on for an order of magnitude longer than you'd have thought humanly possible.

Just find a roughly acceptable house in a roughly acceptable area, go through the drawn-out torture of actually buying the loving thing and accept that you'll be doing repairs and maintenance on it from now until your literal death.

I've been through this process 3 times and fully intend to die in my current place and be buried under the floorboards rather than ever go through it again.

it's round, like always

my favourite is when you finally buy a place and then 3 months later discover that the reason the previous owners painted all the ground floor rooms in gloss white was because it's actually stain block to cover up the worlds biggest mass of black mould.

in the end it would have been cheaper to nuke that place from orbit and start again than sort out all the damp.

what do you do if a neighbour reaches over the 6ft wooden fence and chops your tree off at that height letting it just flop down onto the hedge on your side?

tree law is sacred but then iirc you cut down a bunch inside a conservation area so maybe nature is exacting vengeance in the form of a petty neighbour

Certainly creating a refurbishment issue for the new owners. I like it.

A couple of years ago a friend of mine thought she'd found her dream house, it had got to the stage where she'd put in an offer and made an appointment to go and measure up. Luckily she took her brother with her for the measuring up visit and he immediately spotted that what was now a semi-detached had originally been a mid-terrace. He suggested she ask the estate agent why the neighbour's house was missing and what work had been done to turn what had been an interior wall into an exterior supporting wall.

Apparently the neighbour had demolished the house intending to move it back a bit, and then never got round to it, but yes the wall was definitely structurally sound, even though there wasn't any surveyor paperwork to prove it.

mh, the times when it gets strong are when I want to end myself. There is a TOTAL oval office who screams past the front of my house in a 50cc scooter.

I imagine laying down in the road, his bike hitting me and him falling off.

In his dying moments, he will think 'cyril, you were right'

That seems like the least optimal way of killing the scooter person. Have you considered piano wire or anti personnel mines?

The person I most Fantasize about killing is my brother-in-law.

he has made my life more unhappy just by existing, but I cannot 'delete' him from my life without upsetting my sister/neice/nephew.

I will have a 9mm semi-automatic weapon. I wikll break into his house as he sleeps. I imagine sneaking up to his bedroom. He will wake as I open the door, a moment of recognition before I shoot him through both kneecaps. I don't just want him to die, I want him to suffer as he dies.

atomic bombs are pretty powerful, op

gosh that sounds lame. even 4 me.

9mm is the standard pistol/sub-machine gun ammo. It is plenty enough to kill someone.
