Oh, he's sliding back through. I guess 1800m was close enough.

Let’s just hope he doesn’t crash every sprint five years from now (like Cavendish).

Sagan has just lost the green for the first time ever* *probably, I've not actually checked e: nope he gave it up once before in 2015 Skarsnik fucked around with this message at 13:55 on Sep 1, 2020 |

Skarsnik posted:Sagan has just lost the green for the first time ever* lost it to greipel in 15 (stage 10), and cavendish in 16 (stages 3, 6-9). in both cases he reclaimed before the end of the race.

Does midstage really count as losing it? He's lost the virtual green.

Seems unlikely he's going to regain it today up a cat 1 finish.

He could ditch out. It's popular this year.

Wait I thought he held it *exactly* by tying in points with Bennett but having a better general classification time? Edit: Also, isn't the finish today for polkadot points? I think the green for the day is decided?

The BBC are saying it's a GC countback, but they're unreliable as gently caress when it comes to cycling.

Griefor posted:Wait I thought he held it *exactly* by tying in points with Bennett but having a better general classification time? Yeah the various commentators seem to have got excited for nothing, Sam would have to make up around 10 mins on sagan to take green
