e: or rather, separate from the stays and top tube

vvv yeah could've been a lot worse, was afraid of what the joints in the barrier could do

What the hell rear end kind of finish was that.

Also, Alaphilippe might've lost his yellow jersey because of the people who took the bonus points ahead of him?

There can't be many races that have ended with a Slovenian 1/2.

Nairo came in fourth in a sprint finish on a climb that definitely isn't kind of thing. I'd love it if he ended up being a proper wildcard this year.

no, he had 17 seconds on everyone except yates and hirschi who he finished ahead of. max time bonification is ten seconds.

Surely getting a GC contract for a team next year, incredible form so far this year.

In the end not the most explosive stage but hugely informative. Bernal looked weak, isolated with 3 jumbo visma riders around him and got out climbed but alaphilppe. Pogacar looked very comfortable so maybe it's going to be a duel of the slovenians this year? Love kirby but i don't know why he keeps thinking miguel angel lopez is ever going to do anything.

what.
Lopez is this generations Porte.

Looks like hes a competitor, even wins the odd stage here or there but then falls off and smacks his face into a sign first chance he gets.

kirby is convinced that simon clarke is going to win milano-san remo every year. he's a loving moron.

superman had apparently a mechanical with 5k to got today. but still came in the main group. which was good going.

Sepp Kuss crashed and is working on getting back on. The start of the race Asgreen and De Gendt tried a break and it got roped in, in a couple minutes.

Nothing exciting today, but it's not an exciting stage.
