The former is what I was aiming for but I don't know how to bring it up. I thought it would be a simple/amusing/interesting discussion for the punk rock thread because when I opened the app at the time of that post they were all clearly listed in order. Now when I open it there is just a list of general top songs I have listened to followed by a list of podcasts they think I should listen to. Lol corporations.

Really? Maybe I need to listen again. I only listened to a few songs, but my recollection is all the texture, rhythm, and atmosphere were gone and replaced with some attempt at dancey/housey electro stuff. What was the song with the music video with a bunch of people projectile vomiting?

There's a lot of recency-bias in my Spotify stats, since I've mostly used it for new bands and have only been using the app seriously since like 2018 Top 10 all time 1. The Accidentals 2. The World Is A Beautiful Place...etc 3. Alkaline Trio 4. Rare Candy 5. La Dispute 6. Coheed And Cambria 7. Bright Eyes 8. The Color And Sound 9. Felix Hagan & The Family 10. Good Kid Seriously, only Co&Ca and Bright Eyes are bands I've been listening to longer than 3 years. And 6 of those 10 are in my 4 Weeks list too lol I'm definitely more into the poppier side of Punk, but I like this thread and because of it I discovered PUP, so that's cool I'm open for recommendations

Chavez is one of my favorite bands and I don’t know if younger people know about them. Back in the mid 90s I’d buy just about anything Matador released. Math rock? Post rock? I don’t see a thread that suits them more than this one Repeat The Ending https://youtu.be/kUrz2_Rfoc4 New Room https://youtu.be/xaGsp0qyYmE

There is a post rock thread but, somewhat appropriately, it goes for very long stretches of time without anything happening and then something exciting happens and it gets 20 posts in a day.
