Every time I see this thread on the 1st page, I get excited because it usually means that Adam has said or done something really stupid, and we get to mock a bad person again. I was a big fan for a couple of years, like most of you. Let this be a monument to how much of a piece of poo poo he is. Like, I was a massive Phil Hendrie fan for years, but it became impossible to ignore just how lousy of a person he was, or how corrosive his opinions were. I have no doubt that him being an unbelievable rear end in a top hat is what made him funny in the first place, but after awhile it got to be too much.

It seems like they're friendly but rarely hang out as friends. Jimmy hosts the Oscars and hires Adam as a writer, Jimmy has a party where lots of people are invited so Adam is too. But Jimmy isn't just swinging by Adam's to say what's up and have a beer. At least that's how it seems from the very little I've listened over the past 5 or 6 years. Also people like David Wild won't do the show because he's harassed about being a Jew, DAG won't do the show (or talk to Adam) because of Adam's crazy views. So it's reasonable to think Jimmy has the same point of view.

Pretty sure I'm on the same page as most people posting here now, so nothing too unique to add. Between going to school and real long commutes early in my career, I listened to a shitload of Loveline and the early podcast. There were definitely glimpses of current-day Adam back then, but it is still disappointing to see how bad he's gotten. I held out some hope for him not being a total shitheel when he told a story about crying when his son randomly sad, "Dad, I love you" (probably ten loving years ago at this point). Apparently being a hyper-masculine douchebag was too hard to resist.

I have no insight in to anything between Adam and Drew, but I remember Dr. Drew being a popular guest on an episode or two of Your Mom’s House a while ago, and his YMH video podcast was started around the same time they were also launching a couple of other video podcasts on their channel. I don’t know if there was a rift or anything, but it was also just convenient timing for them to offer him help with setting up a podcast under their network.

I didn't know who he was at the time but remember thinking he sounded like a deranged moron and Adam was right on board with the garbage he was saying.
