What's up fellow bed time night night time fellow podcast listeners? I seriously thought I was insane/the only one who did that.

Depending on how tired I am, if I know I am about to fall asleep soon, I go back and listen to some Friday the 13th episodes since I have listened so many times by now. Hearing about Crystal Lake Townies is like a lullaby for me.

I would probably fall asleep to my podcasts but I’d hate to have to backtrack to find where I was at.

Dave and Jeb Aren't Mean is another good one for bedtime listening, it's a very rambling and sedate comedy show about reviewing hallmark movies.

Morph Club (animorphs recap) has always been my sleep podcast of choice, calm but fun to hear. WHM has the struggle of the guys getting loud really frequently, otherwise I’d sleepcast them constantly.

Honestly, recap shows tend to be the perfect "nod off" material because you literally miss nothing if you saw the thing they're discussing. This is why those were the first things I cut when my podcast listening dropped off due to commute loss.

One of the refreshing things of being single is being able to listen to my beautiful podcast boys or Bob Ross to go to sleep so I can’t hear my own anxiety brain

I don't listen to WHM to fall asleep but I have been watching the movie in question and then listening to the episode as it's released before bed most Monday nights.

I'm sorry. Stressed! Not your fault! I listened to one of the episodes about Sparta last night. It's not the content that I'm saying is necessarily good for sleep - it's all super interesting. It's that there's no weird music cues, loud noises, etc. Just Carlin's smooth, even voice laying it down.

The korn cast was pretty good. I listened to that nu Metal poo poo in high school and holy hell has it aged poorly. Just this directionless white boy angst.

Extremely disappointed that the korncast wasn't available at $5, I mean c'mon I guess I could go to the next level for a month and then lower it again but I'd feel like an rear end in a top hat. People probably do that all the time though sponges posted:I listened to that nu Metal poo poo in high school and holy hell has it aged poorly. I was in junior high when the band started to blow up and one day I was wearing a logo shirt and some dipshit boys at my school were all "girls don't listen to korn" like I was just trying to look cool lmao. If there had actually been a concert I'm sure they would have drank all the expensive Bud Light beers since Korn has like five (?) more albums since Issues came out I think. It would have been all new all terrible poo poo, sung from that mic Jonathan Davis still has that's now rusting in some spots. So far Double Jeopardy is pretty drat funny. I'm looking forward to the 2020 Spooktacular to see what horror films they can drum up that accurately embodies the horror of the real world. And maybe The Fly for the Patreon feed.

What's one of your favorite moments where a side comment lead to an extended joke? I laugh every time I listen to the Wishmaster episode and they get into a tangent about the Wishmaster giving someone a bad blowjob.

"The Watcher", based on the story that Keanu Reeves tells about how his roommate/friend allegedly signed the contract for the film for him and thus he had to do it. "Damnit, BRIAN!"

There's so many possibilities (grab any of the running gags pictured in the Muldoon's artwork artwork they have for sale), but the one that stands above the rest as what started innocuously and became great was "he's like the Joker of <X>" from the Pet Sematary episode.

This isn't really what you're talking about, but a small running gag I always appreciate is from the Getaway episode, where the Getaway song from Arrested Development would play for a bit whenever they say the title of the movie, which carries into later episodes on the very rare occasions they would ever mention that movie.
