Both DoYaThing and Humanz are great. The way to make Humanz perfect is to put Garage Palace on the regular album and dunk We Got the Power into a pit of acid.

The deluxe tracks were The Apprentice, Halfway to the Halfway House, Out of Body, Ticker Tape and Circle of Friendz. They were on the deluxe CD which was about $3 more than the regular CD iirc. They're probably also on all the digital platforms. You're thinking of the super deluxe vinyl tracks, which included a bunch of demo stuff and worthless stuff, and like one or two good new songs like Garage Palace.

pretty sure the deluxe songs are intended to be a part of the "Humanz album experience" and were split because the album is long and WB wanted to sell a deluxe edition

for real that remix is SO good how has Damon not had Jamie T back to do a verse on a real Gorillaz track. Momentary Bliss would have been a good choice but ideally a real raucous banger written just for Jamie.

I just listened to Plastic Beach again and it’s pretty cool lol. At the very least it has big dick energy. Sweepstakes is top 5 gorillaz for me possibly.. So insanely good. But the album is more cohesive than I remember it being, and the back third is actually beautiful

On Melancholy Hill and Broken are both pretty boring songs and having them grouped up together makes for a real snooze moment on the record Fortunately that block is followed up with Sweepstakes and Plastic Beach, which are awesome

But Glitter Freeze is the only thing that truly sucks on that album besides the opening 10 or so seconds of Rhinestone Eyes which I almost can’t even listen to lol.

Rhinestone Eyes, Welcome to the World of the Plastic Beach, White Flag, Stylo, Empire Ants, Sweepstakes, Plastic Beach, Superfast Jellyfish...like, goddamn what an incredible album. I really wish Doncamatic was on there too since it's from the same era. (I don't get the hate for Glitter Freeze, I think it's cool)
