Ineos are cool and good with Carapaz and Kwiatowski as stage hunters

Fair play landa for trying again

He’s out-climbing perennial nearly men who always get out-climbed (and who had to race to the top yesterday). It’s not really that strange.

At this point just let wout go for the vuelta.

It’s not really that strange. also blowing yourself up on a single climb with zero regard for GC position is different from climbing in a way to try to actually win the race (which is why it was so ridiculous in the early Sky days when Richie Porte would do this and then also finish ahead of every Non-Froome GC rider)

Does Carapaz give Kwiatowski the win for his pacing up the climbs? I hope so Roglic looked so strong on that gravel section

i was really hoping someone would go for a long one there, the stage was very blatantly set up for someone to try it. I guess Landa tried, but RIP

It feels extremely weird to post this, but I guess I'm kinda happy for Ineos that they at least got something out of this Tour, even if just a stage win. Also couldn't have happened to a better guy

They looked so happy at the finish. You can't begrudge them that sort of celebration together for most of the last km.

KOM points are for fastest up the climb Saturday which should be cool. Assume Carapaz is going to bring a road bike and soft pedal till the base now And lol: https://twitter.com/faustocoppi60/status/1306626927835394049?s=19
