also blowing yourself up on a single climb with zero regard for GC position is different from climbing in a way to try to actually win the race


(which is why it was so ridiculous in the early Sky days when Richie Porte would do this and then also finish ahead of every Non-Froome GC rider)

It feels extremely weird to post this, but I guess I'm kinda happy for Ineos that they at least got something out of this Tour, even if just a stage win. Also couldn't have happened to a better guy

KOM points are for fastest up the climb Saturday which should be cool. Assume Carapaz is going to bring a road bike and soft pedal till the base now
