Yesterday i read the wikipedia entry for Qanon. Its a hell of a thing. They basically turned a conspiracy and made it a fundemental belief, like a religion which is the most troubling part. Trump is both prophet and messiah to these people. Thats a for real scary thing right there.

The House does oversight not the Senate. They're not passing laws when they get these guys in for questioning. Your typical Apocalyptical religious group has a definitive end date (I think at least one or two revised their numbers when the world didn't end on time) or event that signals the end. Q doesn't have an end date, they can just rail on and on about the Deep State whether Trump is president or not. Trump is going to end the Cabal, Trust The Plan, etc. By that logic, even Trump being voted out wouldn't stop the fight against the Cabal, it'll eventually be defeated...somehow. The other feature it lacks is a concrete set of beliefs as handed down by a charismatic leader. Like I said before, there are a lot of tributaries feeding into the larger Qanon river, some that even directly contradict or have zero basis in anything Q has stated. There's no one single Qanon belief, it's all a la carte without any one figure determining the precise outline of what makes something part of the conspiracy theory.
