Who's selling decent masks?

I got a pack from Elle back in Marchish which are fine, although they do appear to be made from the recycled gussets of ladies comfortable underwear.

As a glasses wearer, I am constantly in a state of frustrated fogginess with these masks, and no amount of pressing the top to my face stops it from happening and it's loving infuriating.

A combination of moving the mask further up your nose and your glasses slightly further down it seems to work for me

Though if I know I'm in for a busy one at work I stick contacts in

I've tried that, but it doesn't seem to help much - or my glasses start to slip off my face, or they're too low down on my nose to be able to see through.
I think what I need is one where the top half is non-porous or something like that.

I know the valve based ones are apparently less effective? Plus I don't want to walk about looking like loving Bane

Yeah, I've got the same problem. I generally wear my glasses quite high on my nose normally, and they're adjusted to be pretty close-fitting to my face, so I can't easily wear them over a mask or further down my nose without them just falling off.. so basically foggy it is. Sucks hard.

if you are having trouble with cheap masks fogging up your glasses, stitch either an unbent paperclip or a hairpin to the inside

You can buy packs of bendy metal strips with sticky-backs, place those on the mask to enforce a shape around the bridge of your nose. These are the ones I use. They'll break after while - especially if you wash the mask while they're in, but you can get a lot for fairly cheap so, eh.

I swear by these masks

https://silverdrop.co.uk/

I have eleventy billion of them (ok, like 12), wear them 9 hours a day at work and wash them constantly. They hold up really well and have an excellent strong nosewire, I hardly get any fogging and I have a horrible shaped nose for mask wearing (sticks out a lot, very thin nose bridge) They are lightweight and very comfortable.

E: I tried the ones with the filter pockets and its kind of a hassle, so I just prefer the bog standard ones.

I have a couple from here that I like

https://www.madebyjinks.co.uk/face-coverings

They’re very comfortable because I went for the adjustable behind head toggle rather than ear loops. The normal mask loops plus glasses arms were making my ears sore. Minimal fogging so far.

I'm bespectacled, and I have 'Stein Covid-19' masks (got them through work fairly early on), and they have folded material just over the bridge of your nose, and a good metal clip up there - out of everything I've worn, they cause the least misting and are pretty comfortable. They are also washable, although you'd still only want to wash them a few times before changing them.

My wife likes disposable masks and uses 'Muc-off anti fog' fluid on her specs which works great too as long as you remember to re-apply it every few days.
