Tortoises are mainly vegetarians (pretty much any plant they can reach), terrapins are mainly carnivores (inverts and fish), and sea turtles are omnivores (seaweed, inverts, fish, jellyfish). There are exceptions to most of them though, like green sea turtles are vegetarians.

When it comes to small rodents it feels like their brain works like 1. Stay perfectly still and stare at nothing 2. Go completely insane for 2.23 seconds 3. Stop and stare at some other nothing 4. Go completely insane for another 3.86 seconds 5. Maybe do something kind of normal

Mustelids in general tend to be pretty nutty and ADHD. Though sometimes, when they're REALLY dead set on something... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwHAgukyWGg&t=3s (kinda loud)

Samurai Sanders posted:TIL weasels are not classified as rodents. Makes more sense when you get into the bigger mustelids, like badgers. TIL the pine marten and wolverine are part of the same subfamily. One will happily chew on your car when you're not looking, the other will happily do the same after chasing you miles and it doesn't care if you are looking or not. madeintaipei has a new favorite as of 10:39 on Sep 27, 2020 |
