Don't you tell me my business again.
Since no one else has made one, I figure I'd post a dedicated thread for tonight's debate between 2, lovely, old, demented presidential candidates. I don't have much in the way of an OP and won't post links on where to watch it since I figure it'll be pretty easy to find, especially for anyone here.

I made some half assed bingo cards, 30 for each candidate, that I uploaded here:

BIDEN:
https://ibb.co/T1DXkKB

TRUMP:
https://ibb.co/2ZNzwsn

Or, if you want, you can make your own cards if you don't like mine with this link

https://myfreebingocards.com/bingo-card-generator

Like I said, I'm not going to waste a ton of time whipping an in depth OP filled with video links and policy platforms since what is there to say? We all know what's going on and what's at stake. I just thought it'd be good to have a separate thread for this awful poo poo show that we can TVIV for tonight and then close.

Let me know if you guys want me to add something and I'll put in here. Or if there's already a dedicated thread I missed so I can close this one.

thanks.

My main interests for the debate tonight:
1. Maniac campaign Trump or drugged out chill Trump?
2. Biden having only minor flubs or something they can make hay with
3. Some left field surprise from Trump like they arrest Hunter Biden during the debate or something psycho

I made the mistake of looking forward to this poo poo show. It will very likely not be as funny as I want it to be but here we are.

Do we think, regardless how this one goes, that they'll stay the course and do the other scheduled debates or nah?

More than likely. They're on Trump's 30 yard line, and Trump needs a touchdown, and all Biden needs is to not get intercepted, but a field goal would be nice to have and in the cards.

Sports analogies are not my forte.

I'm not really stressed out at all since:

No matter who wins, I've already lost.

I'm voting for Biden Oct 17th (early voting) and already know it.

The media is going to call it a tie, regardless. FOX News will say Trump won of course.

I doubt anything short of someone pissing their pants, suffering a stroke or saying the n-word on stage is going to move the needle much.

I'm not even sure I'm gonna watch it but have a feeling I won't be able to help myself.

...

I fully expect Trump to come out in full bully mode. Interrupting, talking over his opponent, blustering, lying, etc. and Joe will be in decorum mode playing rope a dope. But I hope Biden gets down in the trenches with Trump. Not by mucking it up where Donald wants it (like the Mutant Leader v Batman in TDKR) but by treating him like the joke he is; using sarcasm, chuckling, belittling him, hand waving his poo poo, calling lies LIES and using his political skills to get under his skin.

Trump wants this to be a made for TV fiasco and his brazenness is well known so Biden has to counter that with some combination of toughness, brevity, calmness, professionalism, dignity and sarcasm. Make Donald look like a fool by moving and jabbing all night and then landing an occasional overhand left.

As a foreigner, it is obvious who is going to win. I just want to see how angry Trump can get when he can't walk off the stage, move on the next rear end-kissing journalist or shut Biden up. And his answers get immediately critiziced by someone with no sympathy. For 90 minutes.

Oh man, this is going to be a treat.

They'll have them I think.

If anyone pussies out moving forward it'll be Trump, bitching about the moderator and the unfair questions since everyone's always picking on him, but I doubt it since is too vain to pass up a chance for *RATINGS* and being seen on TV.

And tonight's debate is gonna get HUGE ratings (because we're a nation of morons) that Donald will claim responsibility for.

"No one would have even watched these debates if it weren't for ME, the most popular president ever." and so forth.

Where do you live, if you don't mind me asking? Because here in the States, we do things a little...differently. And by that I mean "worse"

Tomorrow, short of some insane catastrophe tonight, the news will basically render it a tie and go out of their way to excuse all but the most egregious gently caress ups of "the loser". Every debate I've watched in the last 20 years usually had the Democratic candidate mop the loving floor with whatever werewolf the GOP threw up there (Obama v Romney 1 being the lone exception) but since our media is poo poo and wants a horse race narrative, none of that will matter.

It's almost amazing how little "foreign policy" matters to the overall discourse when the country you're trying to be elected to lead is "literally" on fire, sick and dead broke.

I'd be surprised if "terrorism" was mentioned ONE TIME tonight aside from BLM, Antifa and MAYBE some right wing groups if Biden takes it there but, god drat, what a difference 15 years makes.

Tbh Trump is probably better than Biden on foreign policy, just not on purpose. That Soleimani strike was pretty bad but that's it. I'm 100% certain that this has to do more with his incompetence than his actual foreign policy desires, but I do think the outcome is probably better than what a standard Dem would have done. Biden has a pretty decent-sized polling lead right now so he has every incentive to play it safe and get through this thing without making any mistakes or giving Trump an opening to change the trajectory of the race.
