The DLCs are pretty much self-contained, but there are a few characters introduced and developed in the main campaign that make going into a DLC starring those characters a bit odd. It also helps if you can get the DLC specific legendaries and rewards at max level when you play them.

The rainbow death laser doesn't cover the entire arena but it is a fairly wide cone, you can just run to the left/right depending on where he's positioned himself.

does anyone have a good fl4k build? i am clueless with min-maxing of any sort, so far i have just mostly been using the radiation explosion, and switching between the gun monkey and charger skag depending on my mood. i have not used the ant really at all cause ive not put points in the orange tree, or really used the non-gamma action skills. the green one seems like its just zer0's move from BL2 which probably means its the strongest, and the orange skill seems like it would make rakks suicide bomb and that doesnt seem very animal friendly. edit: for some reason as my first post-storyline thing i went and did some maliwan base attack. the boss took me a few tries but cause i kept killing bits of it and the adds the entire arena was just flooded with orange guns, and half of them are the same gun with different rolls, and i will never be able to sort through all of it juggalo baby coffin fucked around with this message at 14:30 on Sep 26, 2020 |

Critique my build. I didn't take some for the road since all the other +ammo skills already give me infinite ammo, no need for that. I'm basically just piling up all of the +damage and +incendiary and +ammo skills I possibly can, and relying on Vampyr for all of my survivability. Also for whatever reason the planner wouldn't let me select hammerdown protocol but that's planned for what I'd use. Also what are some good legendaries I can keep an eye out for? Right now I'm using a Roisen's Thorns and it's wrecking everything even though I haven't started going into the demolition tree just yet. I imagine once I do go down that tree it'll become even crazier. Also To The Last is better than it looks because you can spam a bunch of grenades, get 2nd wind, and then get all the healing from Vampyr to keep you from going down again, and get a grenade refunded. With that build, you definitely want an exploding gun, which is probably why Roisen's Thorns is working so well for you. If you do the Maliwan takedown, you can also get Kyb's Worth and Tigg's Boom, which are both really good splash damage guns. The Insider from Guns Love and Tentacles is another really good one. Edit: I would definitely suggest you go down the Demolition tree first, that's where most of the power is. Also, when you fill the demolition tree, the grenade you use matters a lot. Generally you want the highest possible number of explosions to hit, so you want Tracker grenades that split or MIRV or both. The reason I hadn't been planning to use Torgue Cross Promotion was simply because I'd heard that the sudden doubling of size causes a lot of people to down themselves. I'll try it out though! Does the storm sniper rifle have splash? It looks like it does visually and I swear near-hits are almost as good as direct hits, but it's hard to say for certain.

I changed tactics and saved iron bear to tank it. Barely took any damage, compared to melting without it. Still kind of spongey, but the fight didn’t take as long as the jack DLC boss on the first run. Overall, I liked the story and setting. People were right about how much of it felt like an apology for Maya getting done dirty. I haven’t found any dlc gear that I like just yet. A level 60 Moar Gargoyle carried me up to the final boss, then I went and farmed a new one for the fight. It was fun for being part of the season pass, but I still liked the casino way more, even with every enemy being just loader bots the whole time.

Also maybe avoid weapons like the Nukem that have an absurdly large blast radius already. It's definitely worth the damage boost. according to a post on the gearbox forums, the lighting balls on Storm are splash damage

i finished guns, love, and tentacles' main storyline and i enjoyed it. i was surprised they actually had hammerlock and wainwright kiss. usually devs are happy to have gay characters in games, but not actually show them doing anything beyond hugging or holding hands. they're probably my favourite characters from the BL3 main story so i enjoyed seeing more of them, and i liked the creepy lodge owner guy, and the environs and enemies are cool. the only real downside is a lot of the areas are very linear, so idk how huge the replay value will be. i've been playing on mayhem 2, and my modifiers are lootsplosion and one that makes enemies tougher when they group up. lootsplosion is kind of cool and kind of a nightmare. i've mostly been wanting to unlock more cosmetics, but it keeps giving me stuff for everyone but fl4k. i'm very tired of searching through eridian artifacts and class mods now though. i think i am just gonna use this pearl claptrap gave me forever.

I've got a weird one while playing Bounty of Blood (PC). I can't summon a vehicle at a catch a ride station. Its like the FoV is hosed up and the bottom of the UI window goes off the bottom of the screen, and for the life of me i can't remember what hotkey it is (if there is one) to summon the vehicle. Halp.

Maybe farm higher mayhem gear up if you're going down at the crystal stage. There's a lot of platforming/mechanics/knock backs that was super frustrating for me even with a geared up Amara playing on a lower mayhem mode

just want to say playing krieg is a lot of fun i'm not gonna deny that part of it is nostalgia, but there's something about borderlands 2 that's missing from 3. 3 has qol changes and better shooting, but overall 2 is just a better time.
