Spencer was always the one guy in that crew who was definitely going to be fine without SBN, but that show sounds great and I'm glad Richard is going with him.

Absolutely. Spencer's a great writer and fun enough on air, but Richard has a *talent* for this stuff and could end up bigger than any of them. Listening to him on PAPN week after week, the man is clearly putting in the work to really understand football and is also a very engaging 'personality'. He'll hopefully go far.

Somewhat related - I joined their Moon Patrol discord and it’s worth the $3 a month. During Saturday’s it’s way better for focusing on the football hollarin’ than Twitter is.

It's an extra one for the dumb MEGACAST that we apparently need for random rear end regular season games but yeah it seems especially dumb to not have it farther back when it's a completely empty stadium

I think carving out Tuesday night as a thing is a good call, similar to what they've done with the NBA on Thursdays--you can always count on it being there. They tried it with Sunday afternoon but that's a tough ratings draw in the summer, this seems like a better idea.

I know part of ESPN's deal with getting wild card games was agreeing to put games on ABC but man, weekday matinee games on network television is kinda wild to see

I cannot believe I'm back to being a cable subscriber thanks to this YouTube TV bullshit. Had to switch when they dropped YES.

PS Vue was very good and not too expensive so naturally it had to die.

Probably going to get my parents to switch to that then. I got them to drop cable and to go YTTV last year but this season, even when they did have the fox channels every single indians game is blacked out and they're furious.

The only thing I used the RSNs for was to watch Pistons games, which only works because for some reason YouTube TV thinks I’m at my sister’s house when I watch it on the PS4 or smart tv. Can’t say I’m crushed to be unable to watch another season of purgatory basketball.
