I'm on the verge of going all in on Oh!Great's adaptation of Bakemonogatari despite a self-professed dsidain for Nisio's writing just because his art real gud or maybe my issues were not with the writing all along, and just the adaptational choices shaft made. I didn't dislike Katanagatari, after all. anyway here's a good kisshot face

Easily 2/3 of what I love about the Monogatari series is the editing, music, and line delivery by the VA's. I'm not really sure how a manga or the LN can really stand up to it.

Context: This is a flashback for a character called Tripone. Before a match his younger brother was being bullied by the opponent's for being black, so after the match the two coachs have a conversation. The opponent's coach basically went "kids will be kids" about how his players treated him, this was Tripone's coach response. Still not a fan of how the artist draws Tripone's eyes, but still, Ao Ashi is a good manga so far.
