The art style almost definitely seems like a very polished storyboard at times. Wonder if that's the goal from the beginning or if they had to pivot at some point.

That comic loving kicks rear end and is worth reading no matter what you think of the other Crossed material. (Though, keep in mind, it is still part of the same franchise, so expect tons of gore and NSFW, just... much smarter gore and NSFW than usual)

I dunno it looks fine to me. I guess I was never super high on Pratchett, I missed the opportunity to read him at 12 or 16 or something so when I finally did get to Discworld a lot of the humor was just okay or obnoxious. Still enjoyable tho. Looks like a quirky British show with random magic n dragons n stuff, which hey, mission accomplished basically.

I ordinarily feel this, but there's nothing else like Discworld out there, really (the closest I can figure is the Hitchhiker's Guide books) and we haven't actually gotten a proper adaptation at any point. Hogfather tried but was hampered really, really badly by its budget. It would be nice to see something that's more or less Terry's world as-is, instead of every adaptation trying to find ways to twist it up.
