She’s more like a fox where she’s top tier in practice, unlike leroy that instantly destroyed a pro scene overnight. Aris pointed it out too but If covid didn’t exist leroy/fauk would still be ruining tekken tournies, they shouldnt have even left testing with how broken they still inherently are even with massive nerfs. I purposely didn’t include zafina and Julia in my original post because they just lucked out from tekken season 3 power-creep and can easily be fixed, the DLC characters will never be balanced until they’re fundamentally changed

Like akuma caught so many nerfs in the arcades and development and he still ended up being a jankfest once the Pakistani tigers devoured the Korean dragons that controlled the skies of tekken skies since dawn totally unrelated since I’m already on tekken but I hate how people say Pakistani won with characters. even now the skill gap between regions is closing hella fast, and tekken is the only esports scene that had a real dbz style hidden regions of end tier bosses. knee booking a flight to Islamabad right after arslan destroyed all of east Asia is a script worth its weight in gold, and NA having an identity crisis on its place in the world stage was the best poo poo coming of the FGC in 2019 (along with stuff like lil majin suplexing a dragon himself back in 2018) I bitch about tekken so hard because S1 and 2 were the best things the FGC had alongside sonicfox proving all their doubters wrong with DBFZ in recent memory

I can't remember the last time a fighting game did so well in terms of giving people exactly what they wanted in terms of piling in fan favorites. Vanessa, Heidern, Blue Mary and Yamazaki were really great but also putting Rock and loving Oswald in there was legit something I never would have predicted. I think only like, Shermie or Duck King would have been cooler.

Extremely true, usually there'll be at least a dud or two for me in a lot of fitan DLCs but man, it felt like they actually listened to what some people wanted back and then did it, felt good to go WOAH COOL for every DLC character for once. I think one of the last times I was so happy for some new DLC characters was like, MKX when they unveiled Jason and later Leatherface.
