Looking for a movie from the 80's.

I watched it as a rental on VHS...never heard of it being in the theaters. No actors I ever heard of at the time nor heard of since.

4 young (20's) chicks go on a road trip in what I remember to be a red convertible. The only thing I can recall about the movie is that one of the chicks could fix cars, and at one point they were all changing clothes while driving down the road. (This isn't some creeper or porn request). I cannot remember what the goal of the road trip was about or anything else that happened along the way which sucks because I seem to recall renting this movie more than once as a teen.(The road trip aspect appealed to me). I do recall a close up of one of them wearing red bauble earrings. It was VERY 1980s and I think one of them was a redhead. I've been trying to figure this out for some time. Halp me SAF!

Hmmmm maybe this?

Oh, and Jones was there too.

I've tried googling this and can't find it. Film about a kid who slowly loses all bodily function until he can't even communicate, at the end they find out it was a food allergy? and he recovers and I think hates the book his parents kept reading him over and over. I would have seen this in the 90s some time, I was very young.

Edit: Ok I'm dumb, I've literally tried googling this multiple times over the years, and before making this post, and found nothing, but the magic search was "child film allergy parents -rabbit vegetable 1990s movie"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...First_Do_No_Harm

Edit2: The film above is obviously just the music video to How Bizarre.

Okay I need help and also know that I'm not crazy, I caught this horror comedy movie on cable (I think on-demand if that helps) sometime between 07-09 and it was about these 3 bros who rent out, or somehow come to live in, this huge house they throw a huge party and I think there were demon girls that were killing people that the boys had to save everybody from?

Sorry if that description sucks but it's all I can remember and scrolling through wikipedia lists isn't jogging my memory

That movie sounds exactly like a mid 2000s movie I saw on VOD around the same time. I remember the women being succubuses but a google search isn't turning anything similar up. Was the party at a really nice house? Like multimillion mansion in the hills?

Here's one that's a bit vague, but it haunts me. I saw this awesome movie on I think SyFy network maybe 15 or more years ago. A cheesy noir-ish sci-fi and/or fantasy movie. The main thing I remember at the time is I thought the main character talked like Max Payne, everything he said was awesome and ridiculous with the hard boiled quips etc.

The movie was kind of cartoony, think say Hudson Hawk. It may have been straight to video or TV. I think he may have killed a husky villain and somebody may have mentioned chocolate cake, but I might be mixing that with something else. Also, it's not Cast A Deadly Spell or Max Knight UltraSpy.

A bit tough to nail down, so if you know a few it could be I'll take as many as you can think of. It just had haunted me for years, I remember googli ng it way back in the day and asking on IMDb or something and never found it.

There's a sequel to Cast a Deadly Spell - Witch Hunt (starring Dennis Hopper). Maybe that?

Just watched it. Not bad, but it has the screamiest version of "Over the Rainbow" in it that I've ever heard, and Meryl Streep is good, but also almost unrecogniseable.

I'm also not 100% sure it's the film I was thinking of, but I can't think of anything else it might be. Anyone know any other films from the 90s about kids who are made comatose and then cured at the end? Maybe something to do with communicating via blinking.

Wasn't that one. I don't think it had a big star in the lead, I think it was probably closer in feel to something like a straight to video movie. But just notably nutty and ridiculous hard boiled one liners.

Edit: This wasn't the thing, still cool though! The thing I remember was more over-the-top, and the main guy definitely was killing people and saying cheesy excellent one-liners. This ep was great though, any bit of forgotten sci-fi noir or similar is must see.

Great flick, not that though. For sure didn't have a lead actor I could name, and I think it's say at least 15 years old. Tom Jane is beyond A list, he's AAA list.

Also, it might be a bit less leaning fully on the noir thing, maybe just general noir-ish camp and sci-fi like say Fifth Element. I mainly remember the main guy's lines are noir-ish meets Arnold or Bruce Campbell in over-the-top insanity. I believe he killed a husky cartoonish gangster in some dark SyFy channel style city street. Also it's possible I just thought it was a movie and was an obscure ep of TV like that one posted earlier.

This one's not mine, someone else asked it on a board I frequent and it annoyed me enough that I've been trying to figure it out all week.

Comedy movie, probably late 70s/early 80s. Group of people need a distraction so they can pull off a plan, and one of them decides that he'll pick a fight with a nearby biker gang.

He first approaches the bikers and compliments their leather outfits in a way that implies they're gay. But the bikers just accept the compliment as sincere.

Then he tries "Your mother wears army boots!" on the leader of the biker gang. But the leader just responds, oh, you know her? Yeah, she loves those boots!

Finally, he snaps something like "Marlon Brando was a sissy!", and that finally does the job: the bikers are enraged and chase him away.

Obvious answers that have already been tried and rejected: any of the Smokey and the Bandit or Cannonball Run movies. Likewise, it's probably not either of those movies Clint Eastwood did with the orangutan. The Police Academy movies have been suggested as well but the OP doesn't think it's those either.
