My memories of her from The Apprentice was that she was completely robotic, programmed to speak exclusively in Corporate PR and devoid of a human personality, so I don't think she feels anything at all.

Lol there is an Apprentice video game: "Alex Navarro of GameSpot rated the game 3 out of 10 and called it a "collection of games that you can play better versions of for free or significantly cheaper elsewhere on the Internet. Not only are these games overly simplistic, they're just not that much fun." Navarro wrote, "Most offensive of all, however, is how cheaply The Apprentice handles its license. This game presents itself horribly. It looks like it was programmed hastily with Macromedia, with all the characters appearing as weirdly drawn cartoon versions of themselves." Navarro also criticized the game's audio clips of Donald Trump, and its short length, noting that the entire game could be completed in 20 minutes." I guess my intense speed run training for the next GDQ starts tomorrow.

I understand the tradition is "peaceful transfer of power", which means both that the loser steps down without inciting violence, and the winner takes over and does not seek vengeance, but goddamn. This motherfucker Trump is inciting violence every single day, and is implying an election loss will be fraudulent, and encouraging his idiot followers to react with violence. He's personally responsible for what almost happened to the Governor of Michigan, and when that plot was foiled he laughed about it, saying "I guess she was threatened, right?" The Trump campaign countered by focusing on an "8645" sign that Governor had in the background of one of her videos, saying that this was her encouraging the assassination, of the President. "86"="KILL". Hey, look! A distraction! Now they push an operation meant to discredit the son of the opposing candidate, and when that doesn't stick, they attempt to enlist QAnon by claiming it also includes child rape and child murder, hoping this is going to somehow energize people to vote against Biden. Meanwhile Trump himself is a literal terrorist who *dreams* of the riots that would result from an election theft, so he can send troops everywhere throughout the country to grab people and shove them into unmarked vans, invoke the insurrection act and the infamous PEADs, use the sonic and heat weapons, and roleplay Palpatine. Seriously, gently caress every single one of these republican Senators who voted to acquit and in so doing voted for every single thing that has happened since, up to an including Trump trying to challenge a loss where he suffers a historic smackdown but tries to salvage a victory in the courts, and encourages his racist, anti-American followers to defend the theft through violence. gently caress Trump himself, and gently caress everyone who sees him as a god, as he wears 2" lifts in his shoes, a girdle, cakes makeup on his face like a 70-year old alcoholic woman heading out to the bar, and a ladies' watch. Since this in gibbus now, a special gently caress you to any goons who post in here saying "orange man bad" or try to both-sides it. I hope every single one of you dies of cancer of the stomach or brain, and if I could, I would make a google map overlay of all your graves with pins that all say "here lies a oval office" (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)

Here's a thought. If/when Donald dies, how long do you think Dn Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and Tiffany have jobs for? Coz every one of them is coasting on a do-nothing boardroom/consultancy job at one of Daddy's companies. Before his bloated orange body is even cold, I would bet that the rest of the company kicks their freeloading arses to the street. (Possibly with golden parachutes, coz this is corporate America where nobody suffers consequences). But even so, surely their only hope of making a living and paying off the millions of dollars of inherited debt they now have would be to become Fox News alt-right pundits. And whilst Don Jr. and Ivanka seem slimy and savvy enough to do that, Eric is dumber than a box of hammers and less telegenic, whilst Tiffany isn't famous enough for them to bother with. Barron at least is young enough to live a life relatively free of the neglect and abuse being born a Trump comes with, so might make something of himself.

FMguru posted:Michael Jackson used to have a suite in Trump Tower, and sometime Eric would go over there and play video games and stuff with Michael. This stuff came out because Jr. put it all in his book Triggered to prove that Trump isn't racist. Other proof: he let six-year-old Jr. go on a vacation with a black college football player. There was also this completely believable story about how Jr. worked all summer to buy a Nintendo game: “one day in Eric’s room, my father saw how much Michael enjoyed playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with us on Nintendo and told him he could take the game home. My game! To this day, Eric says it was his game because it was in his room, but I know whose game it was. I’d worked a summer job to pay for it! And here was Michael Jackson, probably a billionaire at this point, and he took it!” Wow, that summer job story convinced me, the Trumps are just like us normal folks!

QuarkJets posted:What inheritance lol I think you don’t understand how completely rich people are insulated from the world. There are no consequences for their behavior, ever, just different levels of absurd wealth. They’ll always be rich. They have to actively torch and ruin everything given to them to lose it all. Funnily enough, the Trumps seem to be doing exactly that. If Donald had simply done nothing at all and put all his dad’s money in dumb-poo poo indexes he would be infinitely more wealthy and wouldn’t need to throw smoke bombs any time someone asks for a credit card. But he isn’t. He turned his dad’s huge fortune into a smaller fortune and then leveraged the poo poo out of it, and has been fleecing, tricking, and stealing from people the entire time to keep the plates spinning with, frankly, not much to show for it except for absurdly huge, ballooning debts. If he simply avoided the presidency nobody would really give a poo poo about his absolute, abject failure as a businessman. There’s a difference between being a rich man because you made/make a lot of money, versus being a rich man because the enormity of your inheritance has provided enough of a cushion your failed casino didn’t preclude you from flying private.

Man I wish the election wasnt in the middle of the night her ein Europe, waking up and reading the "preliminary" results is not the same as seeing it live. Last time I woke up at 5, saw that trump was pretty much 100 percent the winner, lolled, and went back to sleep for two hours. The morning coffee with my polsci roommates was hilarious looking back, I was laughing the entire time about how we Liv ein hell dimension, how the world is completely hilariously hosed up, and they looked like they had their dog died. I had trump derangement symptom from day one, pretty much, but man what a weird feeling that was.

If you're fortunate enough to be born into wealth all you have to do is not buy a golf course and maybe take up a rich person hobby like collecting pinball machines or something.

These people are sustained only by power and the feeling of importance. Deep down they know they're trash who inherited all their wealth, so they have to feel valued by doing big business deals and meeting models. Unfortunately for them they're dumb as gently caress, and too dumb to realize it. The Donald Trump story.

I think people really need to temper their expectations about what a post-Trump America will be like. Literally nobody in power has any plans to fix any of the deep seated social or institutional issues that led to his election and the general state of protracted collapse the nation is in. I agree though, it will be nice to see him eat crow. Assuming he loses. Which isn't a given.

I think people have already tempered their expectations on that front and many are voting for Biden while holding their noses and saying "At least he's not Trump." In fact, I think the only people who claim it's going to be anything more than "not Trump" are Trump and his cheerleaders who say that Biden is left of Bernie and will kill God, replace him with AOC, and force all of our children to be transsexual socialists with free college.
