That's gonna be a penalty try too.

Do enough to take it away from Ireland but not quite enough to take it away from England.

I'd definitely give them the best halfback combination of these late games. They both look so untroubled and fluid while also being bloody everywhere.

This French team is just so exciting just now I think. I've always been a fan of Gael Fickou, but Ntamack and Dupont, Vakatawa etc just make and tremendous back line. I thought the French pack were going to really suffer after the retirements but if anything it's better. Multiple players fitting into the role Picamoles played.

Then you look at the U20 team and players like Louis Carbonel coming though and youve got mad poo poo in depth.

I just hope the other unions take this lesson and invest properly in youth rugby, like France has done in preparation for the World Cup.

Russell and Hastings both out for the Autumn tests due to injury, with Finn expected back for the 6N but Hastings will be longer due to popping his shoulder twice in the Wales game.

Duncan Weir and James Lang are probably next up at 10 for Scotland but it's probably hosed the 8 Nations tournament for Scotland losing both 10s from the starting 23.

Australia and NZ teams are out and Australia looks even weaker than last week. I like Reece Hodge but he is not an international 10. And they're starting Rob Simmons with Ned Hanigan as specialist lock cover. Oof...

Well I'm happy to be wrong. Really fun game and well deserved win for the Wallabies. Hodge played great, who knew defending in your positions instead of running all over the place was a good strategy.
