The polls seem to have been off in Trump's favor pretty consistently by about 3% or so. We'll have a better picture when the vote counts are finalized if that holds true.

I think that people were hoping we could go to bed restfully and that we'd see a massive repudiation of Trumpism and now are feeling very morose and angsty even though this was the likely outcome all along.

Yeah, the polling forecast final votes, and may not be too far off in most cases. The roller-coaster has come from the way the votes were counted. That's why election night is fun.

Holy poo poo this thread sucked tonight I asked what arzying was earlier today and now I get it. I thought I was gonna have a panic attack reading it when Trump didn't lose Florida and had to just watch CNN instead. God bless you AZ goons we're exactly where we thought we'd be a week ago, plus Arizona and GA is still on the table.

I remember climbing Facebook Hill to get updates late that night, taking a turn on the exercize bike that would charge someone's cell phone so we could get a trickle of signal. I was woken up the next morning in my tent by a Yakima woman, announcing that Trump was the victor. This reads like like a write up for a coat in the 2020 J. Peterman catalog.

More good news from AZ, we're ahead in the effort to keep and MAAAAYBE expand our House Delegation majority to 5-4 or 6-3. Both our uncalled races favor the D by 11-20k votes. And on top of legalizing weed, we're at 54% yes on a tax increase to boost school funding.
