Oh man that's a huge bummer :(

This is on my bucket list of ways I want to win a bike race (if I ever do again). It rules so much and is always good for a laugh.

is it finishing on a city circuit? if that's the case you sometimes do see the GC neutralized early if the weather is terrible

I'm glad to learn that a stage that already looked like a motherfucker (but not a GC motherfucker) on paper also had really lovely weather. Gotta somehow cancel out the fact that this Vuelta is three stages short

Here's my suggestion for a mild improvement.

We had not left it yet, but when I would wake in the night, I would lie, listening, homesick for it already.

Hopefully Ineos or EF (or both???) try something long range because Saturday isn't a particularly beefy stage either.

I don't know if I'll be back in time from my ride to see the stage, but it looks close enough and hard enough to make for a battle. Last mountain stage.

I think Roglic should be fine, but there's always talks of him surviving the last week/days of grand tours. I hope it's not just Ineos and EF looking at each other to do something. Who knows.

I’m sure Ineos would try something but it’s hard to see that they’ve got the strength to shed any of Jumbo.

We have seen Carapaz go super long before though

I mean it looks like they're setting up a long range mas attack but they'll almost certainly just bring Roglic to the base of the final climb
