This supposedly also happens with 1080@120, which I am going to test with my 2070S later this weekend. If this turns out to be a deal breaker (which RTINGS thinks it is), my set will go back and I'll wait for broader PS5 availability before making my final decision on the accompanying TV. Ugh. Why does this poo poo keep happening? Godfall is the kind of game that will sell okay because it looks reasonable and is one of the few launch titles. It doesn't look like a good game in my opinion, but it also doesn't look like a bad game per se. If it was a game coming in 2022 I think it wouldn't get nearly as much attention as it has been getting now, it would just kind of excist.

The trick is to buy the more advanced TV when you already have the console a couple of years, then it feels like you've upgraded all your games and you can get that 'new console honeymoon feel' again. Also will save you money.

I'm really struggling if I should keep my ps5 next week or sell it for a quick +500 bucks. The only games I am excited about it are the old AAA ps4 games I never played you get for free. Maybe I sell and try to buy another in january/feb

In the DF for Mile Morales they time the loading to go from the home menu into the game at 4 seconds and from the main menu to entering gameplay at 1.5 seconds. It’s like loading up an N64 game.

Jeff Bakular on the CNET review said he didn’t hear the PS5 rev up even once and at times the only way to tell if it’s on was to see the LED light on the front. Goodbye jet engine PS4.

PS+ is up. For Bugsnax it says "Don't own a PS5 yet? Add Bugsnax to your game library and it'll be saved for as long as you're a PS Plus member." but I don't see an option to add it my library (yet?). The UI will definitely be improved over the lifetime of the PS5, the PS4's original firmware was pretty rough and lacked a lot of features we've now come to take for granted. It will only get better from here!
