Starbuck should be in more things.

It was reported back in May that she would be playing live-action Bo-Katan https://deadline.com/2020/05/mandal...tan-1202932734/ — I just didn't suspect we'd be seeing her so soon in the season, so that was a super pleasant loving surprise seeing her fly in to save Din.

Episode 4 Rumors:
Carl Weathers directed next week's ep and it features the return of Cara and Greef, so my guess is we won't see Ahsoka until later in the season. Either Mando heads back to Navarro for repairs or something comes up again.

Seems plausible. Mando 100% gonna get sidetracked.

I'd be willing to bet money on Ahsoka showing up in Dave's episode, which is episode 5 iirc.

Hmm. Filoni is directing the 5th episode... :tinfoil: You'd think he'd want to be the one to direct Ahsoka's first live-action appearance.

My guess is the RR directed episode 7, and possibly that's where we'll see Ahsoka do some crazy poo poo.

That kind of reminds me, what happened to the sharpshooter character who showed up in the first season? She survived and it looked like she would show up again but never did.

Why do people think she survived? She was face down in the sand for at least half a day without moving. It would be a House of Cards level asspull to reveal that she was still alive(a similar thing happened to a char on that show).

Frog Lady wasn't even all that bothered when Mando started grabbing up the eggs from the water and putting them away, perhaps for her the survival of even one would be considered a success, since obviously they evolved to spawn like, well, frogs, and one could assume that they are modern enough to raise even a single offspring successfully

She had moved slightly in between being shot Calican and being discovered by whoever found her and her surviving isn't really any dumber than Darth Maul or Boba Fett surviving their original fates.

This quote is funny in hindsight:

In 1999 George Lucas posted:

At one point, when Obi-Wan kills Darth Maul, he just fell in the pit. I looked at it and thought this isn't going to work because, if people like him enough, they're going to want him to come back and they're going to assume somehow he gets out of it. So I had to cut him in half to say that this guy's gone, he's history, he ain't coming back.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised to see her show up again because of the way they talked up her appearance and Ming-Na Wen’s casting. Folks also thought the figure who approached her at the end of that episode was Boba, based on the distinctive spur sound of his boots.

At the time I thought that was kinda silly and that she’d be back working for Gideon in the finale, but that obviously never panned out and Boba’s on the show now, so

Bo-Katan was the last known mando wielder of the Darksaber, she got it from Sabine Wren during SW:Rebels to lead the revolt against the occupation of Mandalore by the Empire. Her sister Satine, ruled Mandalore as Duchess but was killed by Maul in the Clone Wars.

I think it's more that they already did the egg eating thing, and short of having Baby Yoda straight up eat the baby frog, they can't really keep doing the thing? I think it's really weird that you and others are taking that whole thing so maliciously.

Fair play to those for whom that entire thing hits more personally due to life being a bitch, but everyone else,

Also Mandalorian's reaction to me did not read as disinterest or mild annoyance, it read to me as more "oh gently caress" or mild panic. You can't see his face of course so maybe people read it differently, but his voice sounded like "Oh poo poo I am going to be in so much trouble this lady is going to be so mad", and every scene has a tension of him clearly hoping she will not notice the one or two missing.
