Exploration is ill-advised.
Potentially Dark Troopers or whatever they were called; the original battle droids from Dark Forces.

I got a huge kick out of the big bad scary moff operating his big bad scary (possibly beskar? they were really shiny) Dark Trooper project out of a loving Arquitens :lmao:

Based on the scale of the show so far, I don't know if they'll ever do it, but if an actual Star Destroyer ever shows up it's going to be an incredible Oh poo poo moment

Episode was good, acting was okay. I actually thought that Carl Weathers overacted more than Gina Carano underacted, FWIW. The bit with the Child at the beginning was hilarious. It didn't move the plot a ton, but considering where we were in Episode 4 last season, the season is on track, comparatively.

Disagreed. We got a big ol’ chunk of insight into what Gideon’s overarching plan is.

No kidding, this might arguably be the most overarching plot moving episode of the series.

I'm sure someone will check, but was every line said by a stormtrooper in this episode sampled from the OT?

I'm interested in the folding-wing TIEs, are they just the standard version, developed post-Endor, or maybe just an existing variant for regular use away from a capital ship with docking rigs for them? Atmosphere-use specialisation? Or maybe they're hyperspace-capable made to operate away from Imperial bases for extended periods. I'm pretty sure they have depicted TIEs just sat on the ground but this probably appreciably reduces wear on the solar panels.

If episodes don't end on a cliffhanger to tell you how this episode's plot lines will end next week then it doesn't move the plot.

Having self contained stories means you don't move the plot.

Lost and GOT poisoned the minds of people who now cannot comprehend standalone episodes.

Shows what you know. Timon was actually a mongoose that ended up left with meerkats as a baby. That’s why he got kicked out, because it turns out meerkats are actually weirdly racist. You’d know that if you’d read The Lion King’s companion book series.

This was true in season 1 as well. I love Carl Weathers, but he's playing it for the back row in every scene, even when it doesn't call for it. Though in a way I find funny.

In the old thread someone described what he was doing as basically "Sega CD FMV game acting" and it loving owns and is perfect for the show.

They need to find a way to get Avery Brooks to show up so Carl Weathers and he can act at each other.

Their combined power releases so much ham that the Emperor spontaneously forms directly out of it.

I guess I got confused because they called him The Child but then referred to The Donor in the same message and then the end it seemed like the doc was saying "yo unless you can get your hands on baby yoda again your gonna have to get the donor to cough up more blood"

I was real tired though so i might be dumb like you said

His mistake was pausing at the hatch instead of lunging over to the inexplicably completely unshielded (even windshielded) front portholes.
