I’m surprised people seem to be taking away that Snout was assaulted in some way, cause when I look at this page I just see a blank void. And y’now, I think Mookie does too. I think he had one thing he wanted to do this week and could only stretch it out to one page tops, so to extend this unbearable bloodletting he thought it’d be funny if Snout got hit by something. I don’t think this ink blob ties into anything or represents anyone and he’s in a race to the end with the heat death of the universe.

Whoa, something might actually happen! Most likely prediction: Snout wakes up on Friday, naked, next to Corpse Bride. They keep walking for three more weeks. Slightly less likely prediction: Snout summons his "Endings" sign to stop Ink Witch and Arudak from fighting. They look shocked to see him, Ink Witch tries to hug him, then he wakes up, naked. Friday is him writing in his diary about how he had a vision of Arudak and the Ink Witch fighting and this makes him sad. Corpse Bride goes missing for two panels again, reappears, punches Snout, the walk for three more weeks. Even less likely: Snout stops the fighting with his "Endings" sign, the Ink Witch and Arudak explain the plot to him with giant ink dream letters. Least likely: As Snout looks on with a sad face, the fight is stopped by Corpse Bride punching Arudak and the Ink Witch.

It's like the man's never observed the shape of a human arm in his life, which is incredible when there's one in his field of view every time he draws one of these. He really bungles the torsos, too. At times, there is a complete absence of curvature from the upper to lower back. The panel where Corpse Bride is on Snout's back during the scuffle here really shows this off, she has shoulder blades running straight into her rear end and the overall shape of a pill bug:
