Hi all,

I'm a stupid baby and broke my charging port. Like, the wires came out and now no matter how I reposition it, it won't charge. I called a computer repair place and they've offered to replace/repair it for $160.

However, I also looked into it and there are external battery chargers for laptops? Like, you can just plug in your battery externally and charge it without needing a charging cable/charge port? Or am I completely wrong about that?

I'm trying to save money so any suggestions would be appreciated, or I'll just take the deal.

Yeah, you can but from what I've heard it sounds like a hassle.
