Hi all, I'm a stupid baby and broke my charging port. Like, the wires came out and now no matter how I reposition it, it won't charge. I called a computer repair place and they've offered to replace/repair it for $160. However, I also looked into it and there are external battery chargers for laptops? Like, you can just plug in your battery externally and charge it without needing a charging cable/charge port? Or am I completely wrong about that? I'm trying to save money so any suggestions would be appreciated, or I'll just take the deal.
