what was that hl2 mod where you're all spies randomly assigned one other player to secretly kill? so you're trying to get your victim alone so you can kill them but that means you're opening yourself up to being killed by whoever was assigned to kill you it was one of those things that was really cool for the people that played it but never really took off I think they also made it into a standalone game that nobody played I keep wanting to call it "spy party" but that was the sniper game that came out a couple years ago

aweseome lol. the specialists 3.0 was so poo poo. they basically reduced the accuracy of all the weapons because a bunch of people complained about the ttk and it killed the game for everything but rp servers

I played hours and hours of the Science & Industry mod with my friends. there was something different about mods around 99/2000, especially for HL1, that just felt exciting & purely fun trying to jack off posted:people trying to become steam millionaires through the twitch streaming crowd instead of making dumb mods for fun has killed that era of gaming forever and I think this is exactly it

I liked the one that was like proto l4d where a bunch of people fought off zombies and one person placed all the zombies and traps in the level. There was one map that was really easy to block as survivors so me and my friend would grief noobs on it

I always liked brainbread, vampire slayer, firearms, earth special forces, scientist hunt, rocketcrowbar, they hunger, frontline force, that super heroes mod, the opera, the specialists, action hl, natural selection, sven coop, and uh the last one I can remember is dragon mod z but that was never as good as esf.
