In other words, they could have done exactly the same with that perk, make it so you can invest two points to get twice the effect. So why have two different perks with the same bonus? It's worth noting that gameplay footage on a given platform is hugely down to the person playing, not the platform. Doom 2016 looked slow and dumb as poo poo until they released some footage of someone competent playing it. Unless you're specifically talking about graphical fidelity then, well, what did you expect.

Who the hell is going to spend 3 perk points for a measly protection against fall damage, when the same points give you that hp regen. edit: I'm not going to bother doing it, but I think a street brawler build could be hilarious Let's see, there are perks that increase damage, perks that increase a LOT the critical damage the first 10s of combat, perks that stuns enemies, perks that give extra damage to stunned enemies, perks that recover helath while hitting stunned enemies upon hitting them, perks that removes armor from enemies, perks that gives extra damage per % lost hp (so a good 30% more damage if you are at 70%hp)... I have the feeling that all together combined means you will hit someone a few times with the light attack, and that will stunlock him, remove his armor, do critical damage, heal you and finally kill the enemy with a pair of extra hits while he can't do anything. So it seems like quickhacks are basically your spellbook? That's cool. I also note that Cool seems to have the best synergy with Intelligence - there doesn't seem to be any obvious crossover with Technical Ability (although gear crafting is always nice).

Yeah AAA games don't really let you ever do that. Some games like say Battletech from a few years ago do but in the AAA space it's kinda unheard of. I suppose Saint's Row did as well. I feel like yes the twitter stuff sucks and promoting a cis cosplayer playing a trans character is bad. Based on what I've seen in leaked gameplay and the world book the sexualization applies to everyone and the trans ad is in line with the rest of the ads for cis people as well. The character creation choices are a big step and should be lauded. There are certainly reasons to be upset with them but I think nothing in game I've seen would be one of those reasons.

I've mostly been keeping my head in the sand until close to launch. So while I know there are three "Types" of gun tech levels, my dumb gameplay question is, On a scale of- "Every weapon has a unique ammo and box for it to take up inventory space, also you can only buy poo poo surplus ammo and have to craft if you want ammo strong enough to deal with cyber skin damage resistances"  Vs. "Red guns take red ammo, blue guns take blue ammo"  Do the various leaks tell us what degree of ammo granularity are we looking at? I feel like a blind fool who must be missing some should have been obvious detail.

Techie, to see what the crafting system has to offer and to see what the best weapons are in the game between crafted weapons and looted weapons. Nomad, because I feel it fits with techie, and it's like an outsider perspective on Night City. In future playthroughs, it would be harder to be immersed in the whole, "I'm new to Night City, what is all this?" I'm probably switching between k&m and gamepad, because I can't stand driving with k&m, but aiming is better with it. I might end up just using gamepad though if the aim assist feels really good.

At least one guy who played the latest preview said the game isn't as trashy as the line pushed by marketing unless you're literally in the red light district or something, and the V dialog we have heard in preview clips is basically what you get if you mash the "douchebag" option over and over.
