While I wait for this patch to apply for the next week I want to say that right before I upgraded to a new cyberdeck and my god that makes all the difference. It feels super good to fire off more than one quickhack in a fight. I got one that extends quickhack durations by 30% so I can weapon glitch/cripple for ages while I rush in and club them with a kanabo. After saving up for the 200 subdermal armor cyberware I'm glad I made this my next purchase.

Playing a high intel build. Where do you go to buy new quickhacks? Would be nice to find the suicide one. e: Also, don't know if money was rebalanced after the day 0/1 patch - but I haven't had any issue making $100K after 12 hours of play.

I am struggling as to whether I like this game. Not a big fan of the shooting, and I suck at stealth and hacking so every encounter turns into a shootout where I am jamming inhalers to stay alive. I am playing on normal but I guess I could bump it down. And the story is a lot more time-sensitive and dark than I (for no real reason) went in expecting. I'm thinking maybe I start over on easy and spec better into stealth and hacking skills to make that more fun? Also I really do prefer controllers, so even though the shooting is worse on a controller, maybe switching it to easy, using aim assist, and using a controller will be more fun.

I bought uncommon ones from the netrunner you meet early on to use as a base then got the perks to craft rare, epic and legendary. You get crafting exp, but you don't need any crafting perks or schematics.

It's as much a shooter as Witcher 3 was a swordplay game. Are you having difficulty killing things quickly? This is a problem early on. Switch to a deadlier weapon type (like shotguns) and fight one person at a time. Use your grenades. Get some toughness cyberware asap, I got two decent upgrade before I even finish Watson. Upgrade your gear. It may still not be your jam tho. Edit: definately try shotguns if your on a controller, accuracy is always going to be a problem. So use a gun that doesn't require any!

Okay so my friends and I have an issue in open world games where you get all this poo poo to do but also it's like (start of act 2 spoilers)YOU'RE DYING SOON and then we try to get to a point where you can take a breather and do side stuff where canonically it makes sense. At one point in the early act 2 game Johnny tells you he doesn't want to kill you anymore and is going to let you live and work together which was good enough for me but I'm trying to figure out what point that was to tell my friends around when to expect it. Does anyone remember where exactly he said that?

It was the only legendary one and while I wasn't too keen on the mods at first, it has grown on me. I'm hopeful that I can find a better one as I progress, but we'll see. It is sold by Dr. Chrome around the centerish area of Watson.

This may be an odd question but I'm curious if anyone has played on both console and pc with a controller and if they feel the same. I'm limited to using a controller on pc due to a wrist injury and the way the game feels with controllers feels kinda tacked on if that makes any sense.

I do like how (Early Act 2) Johnny writes your journal entries and will put stuff like "you could do this or do something about your slowly dying issue". As far as I can tell there's not a real time limit, though.

How are shotguns in this game? I was thinking about a shotgun+gorilla arms build but I'm guessing shotguns are melee weapons anyway since it's a video game, so that might be redundant. Speaking of gorilla arms, how does the door opening work exactly? I know you can force doors open with high body but can you just build a 3 body V, slap gorilla arms on him and open everything you want?
