Applebees Appetizer posted:I guess if you have a lot of pallets laying around that one way to use them It'd look better with red and blue pallets. Those who don't know... both of those colors are rental pallets, blue from CHEP, red from PECO (assuming in the US). CHEP and PECO both get pretty pissy if their pallets get, uh, diverted. CHEP is particularly well known for sending bills to retailers for an estimated number of CHEP pallets that CHEP thinks the store has, without even going inside to look.

Imagine being the old guy yelling at a cloud, just as the guy fires his cloud sodomizer and the cloud disperses. You tell your grandkids, that you yelled at a cloud, it disappeared, and they throw you in a home.

If I was going to build an apocalyptically loud ear-batterer 9000 XT, I too would claim it was an attempt at weather control for "he's a harmless wingnut let's leave before he starts in about chemtrails" code enforcement points instead of getting myself a stack of willful and repeated noise ordinance violation citations

As a meteorologist it's adorable to see how much people will underestimate how much energy exists in the average thunderstorm and think a hail cannon will do anything at all. For an interesting illustration check out XKCD: https://what-if.xkcd.com/12/
