Following up on my earlier post with actual numbers: since the game does that handy little sum number above baddies' heads when they have a dot, looks like a single normal knife slash is doing ~500-600 poison damage, give or take right now (my current knife is a blue 74 damage 290dps normie knife). Additionally, poison appears to be non-lethal, so everyone I've done my little drive-by slashes on ends up rolling around on the ground after, if you were trying for non-kill.

It has come to my attention that my friends were picking weapons based on dps alone More important than dps imo is the stat combination roll so don’t over look it!!!

Ok, I'm seriously loving knives now. Running to next gig, see 6 dudes threating someone, walk up and power attack first guy, slash guy next to him once, double jump over some benches to get to other guys, slash each once while sprinting, leap over railing so I don't die instantly to bullets (still playing on hardest difficulty with 3 body), and turn the corner to go back in and everyone is lying on the ground incapacitated. This poo poo owns: A+ highly recommend

How do I remove cyberware mods? I put that garbage mod that gets rid of criticals in exchange for non-lethal kills straight into my eyeball and I can't get it out "An upgrade" my rear end, get this outta my eye!!!!

I did gigs until my rep was high enough and I had enough cash so I could get it before the heist. If anyone is wondering where it is, it’s at the ripperdoc in Watson (Kabuki specifically I believe. Near the middle of Watson, but not Vic’s. It’s in the same area where you have to convince that cop to drop the case.) it’s 35k and requires level 14 street cred to purchase. You can get it in act 1 before you even do the heist. It also makes it way easier to complete more breach objectives since you get way more “slots” during breach instead of the default 4.

So I've done every single gig on the map and I've gotten to street cred 50 but I'm still missing 2/17 cyberpsychos. Does anyone know if I need to progress the story more to get those gigs to pop up?

I’m seriously considering shelving this game until I have a PS5. By then lots of patches will be out and the game should hopefully be in a more stable state. Might even wait for the next-gen upgrade. I shelved Witcher 3 way back when and eventually went on to finish it.

dang, i've been sleeping on smart weapons but i just won a drinking/shooting contest and got a  themed smart assault rifle that locks on to a bunch of enemies and spews out tiny homing missiles at them. usa usa usa usa!

Jesus gently caress. I was worried that I may be alone in getting sub-30fps a lot in the game when I'm outside due to using a i5-2500k in my setup, but my experience is like "definitive" compared to the PS4s. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5pHpQqhmR4 Sure my frame-rate may be like 3 or 4 frames better on average, but at least it's always at 1080p, the graphics and aliasing aren't scaled down, and there are actually pedestrians walking around. I dunno i can only take so much of reddit before closing the tab. BTW when should I give a poo poo about upgrading weapons with mods and upgrades, etc? instead of just scrapping. So I know there's a lot of poo poo talking going on right now in regards to bugs and such with this, But gently caress jumping on that train. That'll get sorted out over the next while and people are going to bitch no matter what. Comte, just wanted to say that I just completed the River Arc and you guys did some loving fantastic work and should be proud. It's a drat fine game and it's only going to get better with some ironing.
