Yeah lol that was the single thing that interested the missus was the black cat that started following us. At one point we went through a way point and she was like wheres the cat? So she went back through the waypiont, found the cat and walked with it all the way back. Here I am rolling my eyes then we get out of the fort and the trophy for saving the cat pops and I'm like wtf lol

So we can summon the cat now but is it any good? Haven't tried it in a fight yet. Do you get any other abilities from it?

If you have teleport it doesn't really do much different, but check for high up places like the old bridges in the fort and you can get up there for goodies, and rear end in a top hat tactics in a fight.

Whenever you're in a cave area always look around for accessible areas separated from the main paths, you can teleport to them for chests normally too

Boy, you should see the Cyberpunk discourse if you think games are expensive enough already. Apparently you shouldn't expect a new game to run on seven year old consoles, despite every other game on earth managing it just fine, and obviously you should have thrown your slim PS4 in the trash and bought a Pro by now, despite the slim being sold new as of *checks notes* right now.

Red Dead 2 is probably the benchmark for PS4 gen, and it's incredible looking compared to Cyberpunk.

They did such a good job getting Witcher 3 onto Switch, I thought they could push the consoles and deliver. But alas.

However, I am sat here playing it on PS4 and loving it. Albeit the city is a ghost town compared to the hype.

No major problems though

One of the good things about not having played a game in 10 years are all the awesome fully patched game of the year edition games I’ve never played before, Skyrim, fallout, the Witcher III, LA Noir, GTA V and so on are all new to me.

I'm just the same, got back into my consoles after finishing some studies in 2019 and it's been great to catch up on everything.

For what it's worth I think the best 'show off' for the PS4 is Horizon: Zero Dawn. Witcher 3 was a bit of a disappointment graphics wise, RDR2 is very nice, but nothing quite matches Horizon. Spider-man is also great.

CEX really does rule for the older games, I say the same drat thing every time I go in there because I can’t help myself “look £4! This game was £50 new and all we had to do was wait!” oh and “just because something is new it does not suddenly mean the old version is terrible”

CEX is a rip off for both buying, and selling. Use eBay or the like, it'll be cheaper.

CEX is good when the stuff is like a couple of pounds. I've picked up some decent horror movies on bluray for really cheap and you can get some super old games which are still good for like £1. I also get used mobile phones from them because the price is OK and I can go see the phone in store before buying.

But it would be super dumb to get recent used games cause they're usually like £2 cheaper in there

i am surprised more people dont take memory overheating more seriously

apparently its been a bit of a problem for the first run of ps5s if you have any kind of bad airflow to it, which pretty much every user does

I used to get the corroded brake pipes thing on my old polo, the mot tester told me rub them with a bit of wire wool & then apply some grease before I bring it back.
He'd then pass it when I went back, this happened several years on the trot. Maybe worth a try?

I'm not a tester but corroded brake discs? they are a big gently caress off bit of metal & unless badly worn should be fine. You sure that's not just an advisory?

Same as with videogames, I salute those brave idiots who pay to beta test this stuff for the rest of us. Buying a PS5 and Cyberpunk 2077 will be great in about a year's time when all the bugs are worked out.

Luckily it's all passed, they are just advisories and the guy at the shop said I can get away with it "for the time being"

The note on the discs say they are "worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened"

The car barely moves so I guess the next time it gets looked at will be next year

Gratz on the pass.

For next year try cleaning/greasing the brake lines before you go & I doubt you'll get that one again.
Most testers I've used will let minor things slip as long as it looks like you give a poo poo.

*edit*
Btw advisories are exactly that, advice. Nothing to worry about..
The best advisory I've every seen was when I was looking for a dune buggy, I cant remember the exact wording but it was something like this.
"this vehicle is a danger to the occupants & other road users", it still had a shiny new mot though. I didn't buy it.

Should have photographed it. People are pissed about scalpers, an actual shop doing the scalping will probably get burned to the ground, should provide a nice bit of festive entertainment.
