I had a ticket to the Beach Bunny end-of-tour show at the Metro in Chicago, which I bought right when they went on sale but my kid asked me if I could get them a ticket (they were 18), and I couldn't get one, so they went in my place. I did go into the Metro to buy merch tho as the merch area is before ticket scanning. Also the guy in front of me was T-posing for security and someone was trying to get by on the right and it turns out it was Lili, so I pushed the guy's arm out of the way. Super talented people, and she's a great songwriter.

Did anyone get the Death Cab Georgia EP? It was available yesterday for 24 hours. I hate that poo poo. I’m a grown rear end man with things to do and I can’t follow bands all day to catch a 24 hour sale. Anyway, I hear it’s pretty good. Neutral Milk Hotel and REM covers, amongst others.

It's better than Wildflower imo (which I still enjoyed), and much closer to the kind of aesthetic Since I Left You had. Listened to all 25 tracks in a row today and really enjoyed it. It's been my favorite album of the year, although We Will Always Love You is now a close second.
