It is common knowledge that you can teach Long Haired Freaky people to be good claims adjusters, but ya can’t teach claims adjusters to be Long Haired Freaky people.

You have to hire talent where it is.

Yeah they actually manufacture child-sized rifles in fun colours for the youth market. Some of them even have adjustable stocks so your kids don't outgrow them too fast.

Don't outgrow them too fast?!? What kind of anti-capitalist bullshit is this? If anything they should be manufactured to appeal to the smallest possible market to ensure growth in sales over the (brief) lifetime of the customer.

Cringey as it is, that does have some good advise.

BUUUUUUUUT why the gently caress do they have one of these on the pegboard:

I remember those as (and forgive me if wrong) a warfightrer prototype, and the optics all integrated. Looks like what Matthew VanDyke took his first kill with, which itself was weird to see in civilian hands.

That’s an FN F2000, they’re still used by a few different smaller militaries like Belgium and Slovenia I think.

Learning to responsibly use/maintain a firearm is an important life skill. Same with basic maintenance of a car, how to properly use a knife, how to build a fire, and how to cook. If you don't know how to do, at the very least, three of those things you probably should.

The only acceptable way to teach a kid to shoot is to buy an air pistol or rifle and keeping it secured when not in use. The worst thing that can happen is someone looses a tooth or an eye and that's drat better than the alternative.

Anyway, here's the scariest part from the Uzumaki movie.

I take it to mean that you should know how to safely use a knife for common cutting/whittling tasks. To competently use a tool, in other words.
