Here's why Netflix cut the scene where Tod (Chad Donella) mimics hanging himself from their version of Final Destination.

It is likely that Netflix cut this scene out due to its triggering contents.

If they chose to cut the two-second scene on the plane
...
if Netflix removed it in order to avoid controversy

no, the scene is missing
there is currently nothing to indicate that netflix removed it or ordered it removed despite the article title

You have to wait at least 1 week before filing a missing scene report, so the investigation hasn't even started yet.

because thats how netflix works, the filmmakers upload the digital copy that netflix provides
sometimes they gently caress up and upload the airline version or something

that seems more likely. like uploading the censored version of a song accidentally which keeps happening on itunes

yeah, that show glorifies it way too much and its been annoying mental health folks for years. do they show a helpline at the end of the episodes? that used to be standard practice but it seems a lot of tv is skipping it now, even shows where theyre better at portraying mental health issues and addressing them

house of a thousand suns is pretty good.

his short story collections are solid, and some of the revelation space stuff is good, but i found the later novels to be unsatisfying story wise
