Thanks everyone  I got really into colored pencils this month because of that drawing

I drew this as a gift for someone who broke up with me the day I was going to give it to them

Then I went through a burst of productivity as I drew to distract myself and right now I have these all near-finished

Thank you :3: I'm very proud of that one myself, there are like 15 layers of colored pencil separated by fixer so there's a very subtle actual physical depth to it that unfortunately doesn't photograph well

here it is now that I've added stars in:

i’ve been seeing all the works you’re churning out on your ig and have been loving all of them

one of the bigger looping backgrounds i've ever done! this is 2x2 so you can see how it loops and creates a second centre at the intersections. maybe still needs some work but i think it looks pretty

there's a new type of art technology called photographs :monocle:

you can make your own photographs at home using some cardboard, a variety of common household chemicals, and a roll of film. let the foolish sun :fyadride: paint your pictures in the blink of an eye while you relax behind the viewfinder

one roll of film can hold 12 entire photographs so an entire outing or event can be documented before returning to the lab for developing :slick:. with practice you can have your photographs developed, scanned, and edited in under an hour, enabling you to flood the online markets with high quality art on a near constant basis :homebrew:

Macnult

that’s really cool. did you take those photos with that camera?

yeah the black and white pictures of my back yard were taken with the pinhole camera, but the pictures of the pinhole camera had to be taken with a second, "meta camera".

get ready for more art as soon as these babies dry off. i think the results will be much better today because i was very out of practice with the development process when i did it yesterday.

Loving the pinhole camera

shots from today. they turn out better when you use fresh film and develop it properly. today's emulsion is fujifilm neopan acros 100. take note of its fine grain structure, and its famous gray tone.

i like how the dithering makes the sky look like a broken lcd screen. it reminds me of the game boy camera.

Hello BYOB friends. This is a very nice thread with some very nice art.

I too shot some pinhole on Fuji Acros 100 this weekend. I didn't make my own camera but I did make my own photos.

I'm looking forward to getting into the darkroom and making some small prints from these photos so I can hold in my hands and look at them.

dope photos posting smiling and megabound!

here are some recent photographs that i made (with a boring digital camera)

I love this one so much! the intersecting angles of the light and structures give it a cantilevered feel that seems to bring a natural motion to a shot that is static by nature.

real nap shit

thank you! :)

I've been embracing the pinhole aesthetic and really enjoying it. I wanna take photos of the breeze.

i've been working on a "fairy door" for an auction for my niece's school, all proceed's go towards scholarships for kids like her. basing it on my old paintings and going to include a little story about "old frog's stories for little mice". this is my last week to finish before the auction so i'm nearing the end but still going to add more but this is where i'm at tonight, will post the final pictures when i'm done later this week. the idea is that you create a door that once opened takes you to a magical place.
