He's gonna be an all star this year (Davis, Jokic, Wood). Luke Kennard is going to be a dark horse candidate for MIP but won't put up good enough numbers to compete with the actual MIP. Such is the tank. What little vestiges of appreciable NBA talent your team had are thrown to the wind, allowing them to blossom into the talented players they could have always been. Assuming they don't end up on the Knicks.

Sounds like a low grade sprain, which usually isn't a big deal to play through. KAT is super tough though so I hope they sit him for this game if the swelling doesn't go down. He'd probably try to power through a broken wrist if it were up to him.

The extra win is clearly better, however this is a team that had chemistry issues off the court last season. A loss like this could (unrightfully) cause a lot of finger pointing in the locker room that could cause bad vibes for the season. I think it's safe to say any weird results from the first couple of weeks of the season should be ignored and just be blamed on the lack of a real offseason/training camp/preseason.
