I tried my hand at lechon. Tied with shallots, garlic, and lemongrass. Sous vide at 170�F for 10 hours, then smoked for about 2 before finishing in a hot convection oven. Didn't get that super crispy skin lechon is known for but flavor-wise it was :discourse:

Me too, although my headache isn�t too bad. Getting old sucks. Like three drinks and I�m hungover for half the day.

NYD is a big food tradition day for me. Breakfast is waffles, dinner is Ciopino, and afternoon is snacks and bowl games.

Mine for last year were to try and get a better job which will hopefully let me get out of the too-small place I've been sharing with various family members for over a decade. COVID primarily hosed that up last year, so here I go again. :shrug:
