This society speaks heavily in hyperbole and rhetoric. It's why you get so many fired up wild speeches in general.
Trump "dying" may as well be the same as "ending his presidency" since he's now politically ineffective. He's "Dead".
They may as well have said "WE SHALL CUT THE HEAD OFF THE GREAT SERPENT AS SURELY AS THE WHEELS OF TIME TURN" to mean "The elections over and we're getting close to him leaving office". That's just how alot of those factions deliver political/religious messages.

There are whole papers out there on the relationship between metaphors in Persian and how to translate that into English, etc. It's a cultural/linguistics thing
