I have personally witnessed grown men - strong, barrel chested men with burly arms, square jaws, and asses chiseled from the finest marble - reduced to loving tears after of trying to get performance and timing right under pressure. Jodelle had 8 lines and this was her first experience with ADR so I booked her an hour and a half at the studio, more than double the time I would book for an adult actor. She finished in under 10 minutes. Beep, beep, beep, nails the line. Beep, beep, beep, nails the line. She was a fuckin pro already at the age of 7 and a goddamn treasure.

I've been doing a treadmill routine for over 20-years. I was out of commission for 3-months due to heart surgery; when I hopped back on, I developed blisters under the (softening) calluses at my Achilles. And I wear New Balance, which, all  /(righteous sweatshop criticism) aside, are the most comfortable damned footwear I've ever had, can stand & walk all day without issues.

new work boots or cowboy boots will do that extremely uncomfortable for a few days and then extremely comfortable once broken in neither would be worn with those socks, though
