Takeuchi may do edgelord hands sometimes but he does have a good clean style and a sense for distinctive design, and lord knows he's refined it over the last 15 years of Saber drawings. Yeah he has a sameface problem, but so do lots of artists. You think the Mona Lisa has the same facial proportions as Leonardo's self portrait cuz of Illuminati messages telling you to be sure to drink your Ovaltine? That's just how he drew faces, artists have templates for stuff.

Honestly, people can say they don't like Takeuchi's style rather than saying he can't draw because he sure as hell can. Just not in the way some people like.

I like Takeuchi's style, there's something very comforting about it. I like how the Tsukihime remake basically looks like the story is now taking place in the 2000's instead of 1980's, especially in regards to their fashion. Like Shiki wearing that jacket.
