i'm not gonna lie i do enjoy the og potter films. but i never got into the fantastic beasts ones and i got burned by getting through the LOTR films (good) and thinking "oh i'll watch the hobbit films now" (UTTER loving poo poo)

here's some assorted opinions: (1) if a batman movie doesn't star Adam West, it's a bad movie (2) the hobbit movies are 100% fine if you just get up for a soda every time legolas or elf girl is on the screen (3) John Scalzi and his Old Mans War bullshit can gently caress right off

Drive was probably refn's most hollywood movie if you thought Valhalla was slow, try "too young to die" (or the other way aorund). its like a regular 2hr movie stretched to 10 hour-long episodes lol
