I keep accidentally slipping further and further away from a meat based diet. I've been vegetarian for 10 years and can't remember why I started, someone suggested I try Veganuary and I failed miserably but a year later I've been successfully vegan for a few months. What am I going to eat next!?

I cant wait for lab grown meat to svale up and become affordable imagine a £2 perfectly marbled slab of steak imagine never having to cut the stringy bits off a chicken breast imagine bbq pork but its all just the good bits of meat come on you science fucks fuckin dooo iiit

the problem with vegan cheese is that there's not much variety. There's stuff that you can melt on food, or slices you can stick on a burger or in a sandwich They do the job of that pretty well but you wouldn't make a cheeseboard of them I do miss real cheese(s)

I blagged an Applewood one on sale afterward for a quid! But I'm far too poor to own a cheese board, so wondering if I can illegally use a chopping board? The only thing I miss about dairy cheese is that one time I found a whole sealed block in a supermarket car park and took it home with me

I made vegan pate Faux gras from bish bash bosh The texture is not quite there, but that is probably my error, the taste is good and my wife is a big fan. Was pretty easy to make as well, and the ingredients are pretty cheap so it comes out cheaper than the real thing, which I think is rare for "meat substitute" not vegan because I used real butter for the top, but the recipe is vegan

I applied for universal credit yesterday My life of being a sickie grifter begins, all because my employer refuses to do furlough this time around. I think he hoped that not paying me would mean I would keep working through a pandemic even though I should shield. Statutory sick pay and UC it is.
