ive posted this poo poo opinion before, but gangs of new york is a fun as hell movie and only suffers from miscasting in a couple rolls (diaz was an awful choice). ive watched it like 5 times. everyone is a cartoon in it especially daniel day lewis who rules hard.

I'm in the "loved Gangs of New York" camp, as well. It has its flaws and a bit on the nose about delivering "messages" but holy hell DDL is amazing in it, Leo is good to okay-ish, Diaz was a miscast, and by lord I can infinitely watch the opening fight and Fighter/Cleric Multi Classed Liam Neeson yelling  PREPARE TO RECEIVE THE TRUE LORD!

I'm really enjoying Wandavision. The way it integrates the incongruities with the sitcom plots until something happens that is too incongruous to just be smoothed over, at which point Wanda has to explicitly reject it to keep the world going is really neat.

Okay I think Wandavision might actually be really good. I feel like maybe the first two episodes could be have been edited down into a single episode, but the pacing in ep3 was much better

DDL carries it. In fact the entire cast is absolute fire.... except for Leo and Diaz lmao. Also the editing, usually a stronger point in Scorsese movies, kinda sucks somehow?
