Zu Rodina!

Didn't know I needed a live-action Five Nights at Freddies starring Nic Cage but here we are.

Problems look mighty small from 150 miles up.

Appreciate that it seems like a run-of-the-mill horror movie that Nic Cage just randomly shows up in with no explanation and starts murdering everything.

In my heart I want to believe he's playing the same character from Mandy.

It is without irony or sarcasm that I say Butt Boy moved me emotionally more than any other new movie I saw last year. It is really good.

I watched this based on your recommendation and want to reiterate that this film surprised me by how good it is, outworldly premise notwithstanding

Well that's the fastest I've went from finding out a film exists to watching it, thanks for that, it was great. Between Butt Boy and Swiss Army Man I'm thinking I really ought to see more movies in the "profoundly stupid premises played completely seriously" genre.

The ending bummed me out unusually hard, though. I think that after that whole experience I was hoping for something totally triumphant but instead there was a bitter taste to it from the kid that didn't make it.

It's just so well made. I would get totally engrossed and emotionally invested in the story and performances then every so often I'd remember that I am watching a movie about a man with a super human ability to put things up his rear end.

This looks fun, Frank Grillo in an action movie Groundhog Day.

Edit: Trailer doesn't say this but it comes to Hulu March 5th.

How dare you not name Andrew Kramer by name!

edit: lol oh wait this is the trailer thread oops. Thought it was the CG thread. Andrew Kramer is basically a legend in the indie CG world. He and his team created awesome low cost plugins and amazing free tutorials for after effects user. He himself does feature work now too.

The downside is that you can loving spot the millions of "video copilot" demo reels from a mile away.

Mel Gibson's slow but steady climb back to Hollywood's good graces is probably the single greatest argument for why "cancel culture" isn't really a thing.

It's in the five-hole!
Not that it excuses him remotely, but as near as i can tell Gibson also finally learned to shut the gently caress up in public, or at least keep it under wraps, which is more than Kevin Spacey or James Woods ever managed to do

why
I assume that video was just a sponsorship/$$ opportunity for them and it was before the whole Rittenhouse incident. Deciding to work with BRC in the first place is sketchy, sure, but I doubt it extends beyond that one video.

Edit: Lol I stand corrected.

But you get all these assholes getting "canceled" and then getting million dollar Netflix specials.

BRC actually made a disclaimer they have nothing to do with the whole Kyle Rittenhouse poo poo. The guy Kyle was photographed was just using the opportunity to promote his BRC discount code. I remember a lot of chuds being angry at BRC after that.
