I just got home from work am dead. I'll post my charity proof later. Good news: I wrote a lot this month and progressed my (long) short story. Bad news: I didn't technically finish it which was the terms of my toxx. For November I'm just :toxxing: to write 5K words because apparently I can't pressure myself into finishing this particular project on any meaningful timeline bbiab

Hit goal, forgot this was a thing. Will post proof later. Edit:  This is basically everything I wrote for the month smashed up into one big document. The bulk of my writing was spent on outlining my Nano attempt and revising said outline. Final word total was 3,869 for that bit, the rest of the 4k was TD related. I toxx'd in the Nano thread, but I might as well repeat it here.  50k words by 11/30/20E: I'm just reposing my totals from the Nano thread as another way to hold myself accountable. If it gets annoying I will stop but: 6k additional words to bring the total up 11,021 (in progress 11/4/20)

Just dropping into the thread to thank it for existing. I just finished the main draft of the project I've worked on for the past couple of years, and I wouldn't have gotten the writing habit to stick if I hadn't done a couple of toxxes. They got me into the habit of writing (nearly) every day and I no longer worry about my work ethic being too poo poo to do something novel-length. right i wrote ANOTHER loving partial draft of this short story and realized that it was totally unworkable because I need this to top out at about 7,500 words.  so i've just written 1000 words of outline which i am not optimistic about.  i'm going to for 5K more words but at this point it's just self flagellation someone shoot me pls

idkkkkkkkkkk. i did 15k, in total here and here. but i couldnt really get a finished draft of byorabian nites. its the 2nd doc but its def words that do not constitute a finished draft. in fact i will prolly just move right onto a 3rd draft asp. i kind of got really burnt out so idk ban away if u want e: wait give me until the end of the day maybe s'il vous plait e2: k i think its chill enough* e3: for 8k*technically constitutes a draft but i kind of half assed to get it there & its not good. im gonna proceed as if that toxx is in effect but i dont want to mar the lw annals and its kind of shaky. feel free to peruse and be like this is the shittiest excuse for a draft ive ever seen and swing the hammer. been feeling weird bout this take the moon fucked around with this message at 23:30 on May 4, 2021 |

yee 20k all for book 3, as a bonus finished drafting + orging book 2 was kind of bugging out near the end but looks liek i finished w/ words to spare. even if i get this volunteering thing going 4 the summer another 20k seems the bare minimum of what can be allowed for me so for that for july
