And the main villain, not the Akane equivalent, was voiced by Tim Curry IIRC.

It's likely because the ED Song played completely in the first episode, that, or I forget if they always cut the ED, even the first run. Haven't watched an anime premiere on AS for quite a while.

And I'm glad to see people actually jiving with Gridman. Still looking forward to whatever else will come of the project as a whole.

Have they even finished dubbing Shippuden? I know the series itself has been over for a while but i'm not sure if we're caught up in English yet

Edit: For context on how far behind we are in episode count. We are at the beginning of the Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 endgame (this fight and the 5 Kage fighting Madara is the end of that game) We still have fight with ACTUAL Madara and Tobi and all of Sasuke's bullshit to go through!

See yall in another 4 years or so when Guy gets to fight Madara :v:

I am simultaneously very interested but also I feel like the story ended at a very natural place so I'm kind of... I don't know, bummed? Disinterested? Can't find the proper word really.

Also since the whole thing's based on/inspired by Ashita no Joe, I think letting Junk Dog/Joe live was a nice subversion of the source but another season... well I think the odds of him making it out again are very low (spoilers for a 50+ year old anime)

Attack on Titan - Reinhardt's life has just been a constant cavalcade of fuckups and dumbassery from Day 1, most of which are probably his fault. Also, we got some real Bryce-soundin' motherfuckers in this Marlian military hospital.

Fire Force - We briefly went Jojo while realizing that the Killface Engines are totally powered by the souls of forsaken children.

Assassination Classroom - We loving busted our asses and prepped the poo poo out of this attempt, only for Lemonhead to pull nanomatrices out of his rear end and render all our loving effort worthless. Also, half the class now has COVID, and we need to deliver Lemonhead to a Detective Conan villain if we want the vaccine. Also, Ms. Bitch is a woman of many talents.

S⁴ Gridman - Not only did some of our classmates get greased by that kaiju in the first episode, they got greased so hard that they were retroactively killed several years prior to the episode even happening. It's a good thing we now have some kind of street samurai to help us ~~burn this city~~ fight kaiju, because it turns out our garbage-girl of a classmate is the one behind all this bullshit.
